Porters Pass

Blue Mountains Climbing

Porters Pass

I think what most captivated me about this area was the intense orange colors of the walls. Mostly sport climbing with some trad routes. The climbing grades goes from 15 to 33 with some multi-pitch routes. I suggest to take 70 metres rope. This area usually gets the sun after lunch time so it is a good place to climb in the morning. Ideal seasons to climb here are Spring (Sep-Nov) and Autumn (Mar- May).  This area is family friendly, although little kids may find a bit steep the access steps. It is easily accessible by car and train.

Elphistone

Blue Mountains Climbing

Today @sasha_gerzhasent Bandula (32/8b+). I took this photo in his second attempt. He almost sent it at the time, falling just before the chain.
I would really like to thank @sasha_gerzha and @justinbgormly for showing the spot where I was able to abseil and take this shot, this was my first time taking photographs at Elphistone. What a unique place
