Moonarie

Moonarie is approximately five hours drive from Adelaide in South Australia. Moonarie is located in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park (I-FRNP) and the predominant type of rock in the area is Quartzite. Routes in Moonarie can go up to 120 m height,  mostly trad climbing. I think the best season to climb in this area would be either autumn (Mar-May) or spring (Sep-Nov). The access is suitable for everyone, although it could be exhausting for little kids. I did not pinpoint any routes here, just took some panoramic views of the area.
